Margaux Joins the CBD Women’s Caucus to Champion Gender Equality in Global Biodiversity Policy

Margaux has joined the CBD Women’s Caucus, a self-organised global coalition of individuals, community-based organisations, and civil society groups advocating for and contributing to the implementation of the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD) in a gender-responsive manner.

Margaux’s appointment to the Caucus reflects her longstanding commitment to gender equity in conservation and her leadership in global biodiversity initiatives. With a strong background in marine ecosystems, youth engagement, and policy advocacy, Margaux will support the Caucus’s mission to ensure that biodiversity governance reflects the rights, needs, and leadership of women and girls—particularly in the lead-up to key milestones under the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework.

Through her participation, Margaux will support the CBD Women’s Caucus where feasible, including through policy engagement, coalition building, and amplifying grassroots perspectives—particularly from coastal and marine communities impacted by biodiversity loss and climate change. Her involvement aligns closely with Blue Pangolin’s mission to foster inclusive, equitable conservation solutions that centre both nature and people.
